sorrowful rejoice

as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

2 Corinthians 6:10 [NKJV]

How - that's a paradox! We can not be poor and make many rich or even be sorrowful and rejoicing, can we? Yes, in God. There is a lot to be done, but we can already rest and rejoice in God. We will plan and have trouble but we can always come back to God and enter his presence - if we really get in to his place of glory, there will be room only for rejoice, I fancy. We will worship him, Yet leave this place again to draw others in. Crying out for their sakes to God in sorrow, yes, even pain. That's paradox - that's God's Love in us.
